Terms & Conditions


All goods supplied by Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. are sold only upon the following conditions. The use of this website or the placing of an order for any such goods includes acceptance of these conditions. You must be 18 years of age or over to use this website or place an order. We may revise & update these terms & conditions from time to time in our sole discretion. You are expected to check this page whenever you access this site, so you are aware of any changes.


Nenagh Plant Hire reserve the right to accept, refuse or limit your order for any reason whatsoever and are not obliged to give its reasons for such a refusal or limit.
We reserve the right to request Photo ID and/or a Utility Bill, in the name of the purchaser, before we send out an order.


Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. will deliver to any destination in Ireland at the following charges:

(1) Pallet Size Delivery:
Large machines incur a delivery charge of €50.00 (Excl.VAT). If a machine is included in this category this will be indicated under the price of the machine. If purchasing one of these machines any quantity of smaller items may be included with the delivery without further charge.

(2) Carton Delivery:
All normal Hand Tools and Power Tools will incur a charge of €8.00 (Excl. VAT) for a carton up to 30kg or part thereof.

A smaller number of items which are unusual in nature do not fit any of the above criteria. Those items are individually tagged on the website. In these cases we can quote you individually for delivery. Please contact us at or phone us on 067 34333 and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

The complete delivery charge will be shown on the bottom of your order before you proceed with your payment details.


Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd will aim to dispatch all orders within a maximum of 5 – 7 working days of receipt. In the event that this is not possible we will be in contact with you.

All orders up to 30kg in weight will be dispatched to you using our Courier service.

Large orders consisting of a Pallet delivery will be dispatched to you via another carrier depending on your location.

Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to have a forklift available where necessary to unload where small or large pallet deliveries are involved.

When your order is dispatched you will be notified by us via email or Phone Call.

If it is dispatched via Courier we can supply you with a Track & Trace number if requested to enable you to track your own order.  All deliveries must be signed for.

Please ensure the information you submit contains your full delivery address including EIRCODE and your land line and mobile numbers.

All deliveries will be during normal working hours Monday – Friday excluding Bank and Public Holidays.


Please notify us immediately if any incorrectly supplied goods have been sent to you. It is your responsibility to inform us at within 7 days of delivery if any item has been incorrectly supplied. We will then correct any error at no expense to the customer.

In the event that all or part of your order is not available, we shall notify you by e-mail/phone as soon as possible. We will attempt to keep you regularly updated on any items ordered that are likely to be on back order for more than 14 days. For delays of more than 14 days, you will have the right to cancel the order and we will refund any money paid by you for the items(s). We will endeavor to deliver goods within the times stated but any dates we specify are approximate only and we will not be held liable for any delay or failure to achieve any delivery or other date.

If the preparation, manufacture, or delivery of the goods is prevented, delayed or hindered in any way by an act of God or any government, war (whether declared or not), invasion or other warlike action, any strike, lockout or other industrial action, or any other civil disturbances, non-availability of raw materials, or any other event beyond the company’s control, then in any such circumstances the company may, upon reasonable notice, terminate or amend this contract in such manner as it shall think fit.

The risk of the goods will pass to the customer upon delivery and legal, equitable and beneficial ownership shall remain with the company Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. until full payment is received.

Where goods are to be delivered by courier or independent transportations goods are delivered to the courier company its servants or agents for delivery to the customer.


Undeliverable orders that have been dispatched to the delivery address as supplied by the customer and consequently are returned to Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. are subjected to a refund of the value of the products only (not including delivery charges) and less any applicable return costs charged by the carriers. There is also a 15% restocking charge applicable.


Please immediately inform us by email at Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. with problems you may have with your delivery. Please inform us within 7 days of delivery. We cannot accept any liability unless we are notified within the 7 days of delivery.


Always examine the packaging or pallet at the point of delivery before signing for any packages. If the package or pallet appears to be damaged in anyway insist on writing a note on the carriers delivery consignment note. It is then your responsibility to inform us of any damage to products within 7 days of delivery.


Orders can only be collected at our retail premises in Nenagh by prior arrangement. Please email us to arrange this prior to completing your order on In the event of collecting your order, Photo ID will be required to verify your identity.


Vat is included on all prices shown on this website. An itemized invoice showing the VAT will be issued for all orders on dispatch. Our VAT Number is IE8227968K


If you are unhappy with your purchase in any way – We will refund the item(s) in full, excluding the delivery charge, provided the items are returned carriage paid, unused and in their original state and packaging and within 14 days of purchase. Refunds are normally issued same day of return, however we guarantee never more than 30 days.

If you return an item because it was faulty or incorrectly supplied We will exchange or refund the item(s) in full including the delivery charge and we will refund the cost of returning the item to us, providing return carriage charges are agreed in advance, and in accordance with our own suppliers terms & conditions.. In most instances we will instruct our carrier to collect on our account.

No credit, exchange or replacement will be allowed for goods defaced in any way. Special orders or goods modified at the customer’s request are NOT Returnable. All user manuals, warranty registration cards etc. must be returned.

A return authorization number must be requested from the company within 30 days from date of shipment.

Products will only be accepted back for credit where the goods have not been used and are in their original packaging. Goods being returned must be shipped prepaid and properly packaged to prevent damage in transit.


It is your responsibility to determine that the goods are sufficient and suitable for the purpose to which they are to be put. We shall in no way be held liable for any direct or consequential damage, loss or expense arising from any defect or inefficiency caused by any misuse of any item.

Items requiring assembly:
Certain items may need assembly prior to use. All machinery must be fueled and oiled prior to first use. Hydraulic items may need bleeding or refueling on receipt. Ordering of these items is on the understanding that the purchaser is competent or has employed someone competent to complete these tasks.


Prices on this website are in Euros.

We reserve the right to make any price adjustments whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any orders published at the incorrect price.

Any price quoted by the company or comprised in the contract is provisional only, and is subject to market fluctuations and or changes in basic national wage rates and costs of materials (including raw materials). Whilst every effort will be made to maintain prices quoted, the company reserves the right to execute orders at prices ruling at the time of delivery.


If your item is not in stock or we cannot supply for any reason, we will endeavor to offer you an alternative product or place the item on back order. You will always have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.


Credit Card Payments are directed to  our Secure Payment Gateway Providers. Here your card information is processed in the highest security environment.

Your card details are not retained by this company or on any server.


All goods supplied are covered by the standard manufacturer’s warranty. If an item is faulty, please return it to us with a covering letter. We will then arrange to either credit you or replace the goods, whichever you prefer. None of the above affects your statutory rights.


Any changes, alterations, modifications, unauthorized repairs or misuse to machines automatically voids this warranty. In no event shall Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages.


Nenagh Plant Hire & Hardware Ltd. does not disclose buyers’ information to third parties under any circumstances.


We accept credit card payments from MasterCard & Visa and debit card payments from Laser & Visa Debit. If you are shopping from outside of the euro zone, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

These conditions and the contract shall be subject to and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. The customer submits to the jurisdiction of the “Irish Courts of Law”.
